Per PageI decided to alter my commissions and charge per page. Just $3 USD per page. Page count based on google docs.
Picture Books: 0-1000 words; ideal length around 600 words. (2 to 4 pages double spaced.)
Chapter Books: 5,000-15,000 words; ideal length around 10,000 words. (Between 10 to 60 pages double spaced.)
Middle Grade: 20,000-55,000 words, ideally 35,000 words. (Typically between 40 to 110 pages single spaced, or 80 to 220 pages double spaced.)
Contemporary YA: 60,000-85,000 words, ideal length 80,000 words. (Between 120 to 170 pages single spaced, or 240 to 340 Double spaced.)
YA SFF: 85,000-100,000 words, ideal length 90,000 words. (Typically between 170 to 200 pages single spaced, or 240 to 400 pages double spaced.) [I will very rarely take commissions this long.]
so when you think about it 3 dollars may be cheap but the more pages the story goes the more it adds up. Just bare in mind that the longer the story, the longer it will take to finish. A full novel can take at the very least up to a half a year or more to complete. Whereas a short story I can usually shell those out within a day. Please keep this in mind when choosing your category.

The following involves content that I will not write under any circumstance, either due to personal preference, or for legal reasons: Fetishes such as Scat, Water-sports, torture, murder/death. Current world Politics. Characters belonging to another artist/writer without their express permission. (This does not include copyright material such as any cartoons, TV shows, movies, books, and video game media as this counts as fan fiction which is covered under fair use laws.)
Anything else i will consider generally acceptable, but if you're unsure, feel free to message me. Bare in mind that prices are determined by page count and will vary depending on how detailed you wish your story to be.
For legal purposes if you wish me to write fanfiction for you in a particular franchise then payment is regarded as services rendered for writing the story. I will give proper credit to any and all sources of copyright material and links to website sources if available. I ask that you as the commissioner please provide as many sources as you can if it involves any copyright materials from other media sources if you can.
I will work with you through every detail from the first draft until it's completion. |
