Well despite being very Angry at GIMP for crashing on me (and fusing the shitty pencil original into the new and cleaner layers above it) I decided to slog ahead with it and try to minimize the pencil that remained in it. It will never have the crisply colored look it did with the image I had when it froze, but I'm sure as heck not doing all that work over again!

This one has something the other didn't though. I worked some shadows into the background because they are fun. And then I did some rays of light reaching through the trees because it's such a neat feature to actually draw in.

The anatomy still bothers me, of course. Arms look too small on the ends, legs need to be bigger, and the torso looks too chunky.
