This ref sheet's actually been around for a while but I made a few minor changes and wanted to show it off! ^__^
I made this character when I was 16, mainly to poke fun at the "Hot Chick with a Sword" trope: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.p.....hickWithASword
and over-complicated character designs. Lo and behold, she became one of my favorite characters, so my shennanigans got the best of me because I have to think about all these details every time I draw her now! XD
The 'heart butt' wasn't originally in her design. It was one of those, "The more I thought about it, the more it HAD to be done" ideas. XD

As another - I'm still technically trying to figure out how I want my bat's wing design to work. How do her wings allow her clothes to fit on (as in, what kind of alterations has she made to her uniform to allow her wings to stick through)?

Awesome. You've got it. At first glance I was like "Hookay, pretty wild" But there is a life and a soul to her! You love this character! You put real time and effort into thinking her out and making the things you want her to be work. She has a setting and a world and things she is good at and a bit of a profession, yeah! She's a character with a life of her own. You jokingly call her a marry sue. I would beg to differ! At first, she is, but then, you put so much life into her that she isn't anymore! She's a working character! I can reference my Dusk in the same way. In a nutshell, He's a slender black lion/wolf construct who was brought back from the dead, lost his memories, and maintained his skills which entail swordsmanship, stealth, and combative arts, not to mention his return to functioning life left him with deathly powers and the ability to see the dead. That? Listed out like that? Sounds SOOOOO marry sue LOL But he's not because I made him faaaar deeper than those traits, gave him substance, and a world that he works in!

It's an aesthetic preference, partially so her gloves can hang on without needing magnets or piercings either! X'D
I also haven't found a proper place to write it yet, but there has been at least one canine mixed into her ancestry at some point, which gives her her longer, fluffier tail. I suppose it could account for the lack of the upper wing membrane too!

It varies from culture to culture, but in Nyxis's Kingdom Fontis inter-species couples are relatively acceptable! It's just that many species crosses are incompatible, yielding either no children or infertile offspring, so such couples opt for adoption or surrogate mothers if they want a child. Every once in a while surprises in nature will happen, and that's when you get hybrids!
Cabbits are an exception in that they are so common they are their own species(and have always been considered so by the inhabitants of the world). It's rare for a cabbit to be able to conceive with other species though, a fact that keeps most of them in higher standing since they are universally thought of as a royal species.
P.S. I'd love if you could ask that question at my Ask too, since it's a good question and that's where the most people check for a compilation of answers to Nyxis's universe! =D

I think Nyxis design is very beautiful, loving the color and the look, so I figure this would be as an appropriate place for this to go considering its a question about hybrids and such. Is she mated with anyone? And if not what limitations or specifics qualities would she be interested in? And further more would she be interested in another hybrid? *Ears lay back as my tail flckered lightly* Sorry just wondering.
