I've *finally* (after 4 months or so) finished the dress I plan to wear with the "Moonstone Beast" partial (made by
ClockworkCreature), which I have named "Selene", after the Grecian goddess of the Moon (Luna being her Roman counterpart, so I tend to think of Lunacorn as being Selene's Moon-Spirit Sister). The dress itself was made by HolyClothing.com (it's their "Alyssa" dress, in white...and please check them out; all their clothes are awesome!), and I added reams of iridescent pale blue ribbon, 20 opalite beads (which resemble moonstones, and glow pale gold when they catch the light, as seen here), and more iridescent pale blue sequins than I care to count. The two strips hanging down are the belt, which ties in the back. There's a bead on the end of each belt, one hanging on the bottom of each sleeve, and 16 across the front of the dress. The only part left to do is make a hole for the tail, but I can't do that until I have the actual tail and know how wide to make it, and
Qarrezel isn't done making it yet. Will post a pic of the suit being worn with the dress once I have the partial. :)

Well, I didn't make the dress (that's from HolyClothing), but only added the ribbon, beads and sequins. :D I would love to know how to make dresses (my grandmother was a pro seamstress/tailor, and I loved watching and helping her work), but I haven't figured that out yet. I pretty much stick to making quilts, pillows and small easy patterns, and adding decorations to pre-made dresses. :)
