Now I have no excuse to not come to Califur and/or Santa Ana

Well Califur ended yesterday but the art show runs all month.

Oh ok. Rats! Gonna hafta do with looking at pictures. Still, it's a really amazing idea.

I'm imagining an older person (who doesn't look very tech-savy) staring at the QR code as if it were art itself. "This new 'modern art' is getting weirder every day."

Congratulations for getting to organize this show! Last year I carefully begun to exhibit my own anthropomorphic paintings to a non-furry, general art crowd too, and I have more shows planned for this autumn/winter and for next year. It's kind of hard to explain the motivations of furry art to an external crowd but I firmly belive that taking some aspects of furry art into the fine art world is possible and that it is a much needed step for future developments of the community. Ten years ago all this would have been unimaginable... but now there are several artists here on FA who have done gallery shows and I definitely hop emore will appear in the future.

Excellent! I know many furry artists are comfortable with producing and marketing withing the community, but I see furry art of all kinds as equal to any other "fine art" produced and displayed in art galleries all over the World.

That is a photo of someone wearing a leather tooled (engraved) wolf mask, with a blurred background. It is the cover photo for Changa's "Califur" photo book. The 6 phots are form his collection.
