Anthrocon 2013 Conbook / Poster Submission "Street Rave"
Hey everyone!
Well, here was my entry into the Anthrocon 2013 Conbook entitled "Street Rave". I made it my first project of this year so I could practice making digital art. I decided to wait until after the convention to post it so that I would not spoil the effect for their conbook. (I was extremely happy to see that it received a full spread on page 19, adjacent to Uncle Kage's staff credits!) My thanks to the staff for giving it such a nice position! =3
*3/16/14 Update: I found out that my illustration is one of the nominations to the Ursa Major Awards for "best published illustration in 2013". Thank you so much to everyone who nominated it for this year!

Hey, I know I already told you that but that is very cool and congratulations on the appearance in the con book and for the complete page too!! Also, that iguana DJ is totally cool! Oh, and by the way, I just realized the star of the dance was Transyr with his special rave pants!
Hehehe... wow, you actually noticed that! I changed the character "a little" so it wasn't obvious but yup, that's technically him.
(I thought a dolphin might be too recognizable!)
Thanks so much for the compliment. Also, I'll be sure to send you a close up of the iguana in an email so you can see just how much detail is actually there.
DJ 'Guana is one of my favorite characters in the poster as well. It didn't look right in the composition, but I was really tempted to make him red in the beginning... just to give another slight cameo to a previous poster's DJ!
