Well, despite the popular notion that the cottage industry for textiles is nearly-dead, it is alive and well, with a thriving global community. I am a member of three weaving & spinning guilds, and I also own & operate a business where I sell the precursor materials to fellow artists and enthusiasts to further their textiles passions and addictions.
