Very cute and strange things can come from being drunk and padded XD.
And when it comes to Gem being an AB or not, I like Cheeses idea of two different "timeline" versions of Gem. I'd see the AB Gem being the result of wanting to explore the cub side of her after the events of your comic. The Non-AB Gem could rather not been effected by that or not had the events of the comic happen to her ^^;

I'm pretty happy with your adult characters. I know you don't have that much experience with them and you keep insisting that you're no good with them, but I've seen a definite improvement as of the last 6 months or so. Adult and child characters are definitely different, and I am happy to see you drawing stuff outside of your comfort zone. It shows signs of an artist who's willing to grow and tackle unfamiliar territory.
I've also been kind of holding back a bit, but I'm continually impressed with the amount of work you get done in a short amount of time. Your group pics are astounding. The number of participants, especially compared with the short amount of time you've spent, coupled with the quality of your work, You should really be one of the top rated artists in the community, if you aren't already; which I think you are.
