What can I tell you, they make good burgers, have free peanuts and you can refill your cup as much as you want from one of those space-age, zillion-different-combinations soda machines.

And they leave out crayons and index cards to draw on!

Life is good! I wish we had them here. No 5 Guys burgers anywhere close to me though. *sad face* :(

Back in grade school every issue of My Weekly Reader had a painting on its back cover, along with a bit of text explaining the picture; this was my favorite one of the bunch. (The next issue it was a Jackson Pollock, which didn't quite have the same impact on me.)

The original was, until about a year or two back, hanging in the Metropolitan Museum here in NYC. I took my son to see it... and it wasn't there no mo' Hope it returns one of these days.
