Here's the second 'survey gag' from a 1997 issue of "The Dallas Brawl Update", as the bobcat continues to test his product 'Bloat Cola' on more subjects - this time, on a kangaroo with a pouch named 'Bruce'. I don't know what the joey was named. These were characters created by Andy LaVerdiere - whose brother Peter (a.k.a. 'Hopper Roo') was also a "DBU" contributor. Enjoy this four-panelled 'throwaway'.

Well, Aldi, his wasn't the first time I drew a joey in crowded confinement. I had a throwaway gag (some years ago) about a fat mother kangaroo who was told by her doctor that losing weight would not only make her live longer, her son wouldn't have to suffer from claustrophobia!
