Auric - shapeshifting five forms WIP (by Aurin/korpinkorva)
Update, I made the series larger and more detailed.
This is a set of sketches of my jackal/gryphon 'sona, Auric, shapeshifting to some of his different forms, from (1) wingless plantigrade anthro-jackal to (2) winged plantigrade to (3) winged digitigrade (typical furry) to (4) anthro-gryphon to (5) jackal-headed quadrupedal gryphon. This is a set of 5 sketches to help illustrate the 1 to 5 shapeshifting scale I mention in my Journal about Auric's design.
The artwork is drawn by Aurin (korpinkorva) who can be found on Weasyl: https://www.weasyl.com/~korpinkorva Aurin is a fairly well-known shapeshifting canine gryphon character. Aurin/korpinkorva was one of the first artists that I thought of when I decided my winged jackal 'sona was going to have a gryphon form and was a big help in developing my 'sona's wing design. The similarity between Auric and Aurin's names is purely coincidental and their colors and personalities are quite different.
We are still working on forms 2 & 3 but I wanted to post this as a reference.
