This is my own species, Vulfae! A cross between fox/faerie/piskie (please respect the spellings of faerie and piskie (piskie is the Cornish spelling))
This is a closed species (avaliable to close friends though) but might do adoptables at a later date.

Fox-Faerie-Piskie

Vulfae are the result of a faeries magic combined with the mischievousness of a piskie.

They are commonly found in forests and woodland areas, and like to live in secluded safe spots like caves, bushes and trees on a far away planet called Serefey. They also like to live near spirit lakes which are lakes filled with the energy of spirits which power their magic, and faeries and piskies habit around them frequently to help contribute to the spirit powers.

They can be gentle, kind and reserved, but can also be mischievous and prankster like at times when they feel like it. They also like helping others, when they aren't making pranks.

They can use magic but very rarely use it since it takes a lot of energy. They most often use it whenever they or others are injured or trying to defend themselves.

Each Vulfae is different, they are all unique in their wing designs, patterns and colours. Their wings can vary from insect wings, feathered wings, traditional faerie like wings and even dragon like wings, though the latter is incredibly rare and only found in evil royalty (the ones shown in the ref are the very basic ones a Vulfae can have). Their colours never clash (orange and blue) and are more similar in colours or lighter or darker shades of the base colour (light green and dark green with brown and maybe some blue). Patterns are mostly consistant of swirls and flowing designs. They can have either curly antennas or 'bulb' antennas. The long appendages on the tail can either be feather like or leaf like and can be moved around at will, though serves no real purpose. The smaller appendage is purely aesthetic, as is the ones on the ears. They are covered entirely in fur. They have a great sense of hearing and touch.

There is a sense of royalty among the Vulfae, with a king and queen ruling Serefey, and also an evil royalty too which live in the outlands that were banished by the king and queen. These kind of Vulfae are dark in colour, with their base colours being black or grey, and other colours being dark shades (black and dark red).

They are mostly small and tiny in size but can enlarge themselves at will to the height of a small child, though they rarely do this from the amount of magic needed to do it.

When Vulfae want offspring they call on the faeries and piskies to produce a dust egg for them, since they are unable to reproduce themselves without the help of the faeries and piskies. A dust egg is basically that, an egg made of faerie and piskie dust and are suprisingly solid despite their appearance.
