I've discovered it recently:
Name: Hunter's Moon
Author: Garry Kilworth
Maybe you can find it in German language ?
It's 100% a fox story, and it is mature (drama, death, sacrifice.... and also not-graphic mating scenes! x3)
I think it's the best for who love foxes
