This is a shaded digital sketch of my golden jackal / long-legged buzzard (hawk) 'sona Auric in his feral jackal-headed gryphon form, which is more suited to serious flying than his more typically shown winged digitigrade anthro jackal form. It was drawn by 
CopperGryfon as the last of a series of three sketches to help develop Auric's feral form.
The drawing, which is titled "Finding North", helps point out that just because you can fly doesn't necessarily make navigation simple.
