oh wow. Mufasa is just finding out that everyone was being fake to Taka today.
I like how you give Taka a reason to be as spiteful as he is. No maniplations from outside forces, or just born evil, but just he was neglected, he tried till he a teen to be loved, EVERYDAY and nothing came of it. Now we see another reason. No one liked him because he was hurt and he sorta acted on his hurt. The lioness he thought liked him, was only pitying him and the others only put up with him because he was Mufasa's brother.
I just like this interpretation of why Taka would have taken the actions he did.

Indeed. I feel it was a slow process. Just lots of little things that just added up and got bigger and bigger. Till all he needed was a little push to make him fall into madness. Slight outside manipulation too though. As I doubt the hyenas didn't take the opportunity to keep pushing him in that direction. The were the ones who instigated Taka into the situation that gave him his scar in the books. But I felt it would have been alot more than just that. Plus adding between the lines during the movies. No lionesses seemed to ever be around Scar. Even when he was king. Only Simba seemed to enjoy his company. Even Mufasa only went to see him when he was angry with him. So that definitely made it seem like he was shunned. And I feel there would have been alot more to it than just how he got his scar. Plus how thin he was. He had a bit more weight to him when he fights Simba so that made me think he wasn't treated even as pride male usually would be. And then some of his lines made it obvious he had Daddy issues. XD Left alot of fuel for ideas to put in this comic. X3 Though this is a total AU. So the end... may be different than what turns into the movies.
