How many of you remember an anthropomorphic martial arts video game from the 1990s called "Brutal: Paws of Fury"? There were editions made for both PCs and the Sega Genesis system.

Well, the makers of that particular game was holding a contest, to see if loyal fans could create new characters for a sequel to "B:POF". Immediately, I got on the bandwagon and submitted an entry, throwing in a bit of artwork, to boot.

'Sheila McKenzie' (a 'flyer') was hopefully going to be the next big star of video games (along with 'Spyro the Dragon', 'Crash Bandicoot', and 'Sly Cooper'), but sadly, it was not to be. My entry didn't qualify for the finals...

Besides the stereotypical defense moves marsupials of her kind are known for (leaning on her tail and kicking, using her tail as a weapon itself, etc.), 'Sheila' can reach for weapons in her pouch (like boomerangs, oily eucalyptus leaves [she'd throw on the floor to make her victims slip and fall], etc.), This is why her outfit has a bare midriff.

I hope you like this rare offering of mine. I plan to post a colorized version of 'Sheila McKenzie' before year's end.
