From what i hear at least, most tarantula's are harmless where as these have venom with the potential to leave you with permanent joint stiffness :[

They used to be known as orange baboon tarantula's untill it was caught on that they were shits :V
Not all of them are as bad though, i used to have a giant australian huntsman spider who was a kitten compared to some tarantula's.

Do you still own any spiders? I've had moments where I was tempted to get a tarantula. They're simultaneously fascinating and terrifying.

I've kept like 3 species of tarantula's compared to hundreds of pretty much every other invertebrate, im more of a huntsman and jumping spider man myself. Im in talks with a guy to trade for some fancy purplely tarantula's soon though ^_^

Also, we had Chilean Rose-haired tarantulas, they were great. One was very friendly, the other didn't want to be handled, so we didn't.

Speaking of spiders, I believe one of my friends saw your art (he isnt a furry) and he mentioned that you would probably make some of his anthro characters look amazing, if you are interested in making and anthro spider, i think he would be extremely happy if you made one based of off his character.
