sweet- it's kinda like watching the progression of an oil painting.
do you mostly just paint on one layer?

Essentially yeah. I use layers as an extended ctrl z. I'll start on a new one every ten minutes or so and keep checking back at previous layers to make sure I haven't been weakening the image.

ohhhh, that's a pretty neat way of going about it. =0
...I may just have to try that out since a lot of my stuff is done on one or two layers.
