Dang it. I want to see more sexy bits, but the story is really good! I'm really eager to see where the plot goes. If I was forced to choose between plot progression or a sex scene, I don't honestly don't which one I'd pick. And for someone as porn-obsessed as I am, I feel that's saying a lot.

Unfortunately, the porn is gonna be a while, we're in a bit of a story clench right now :p I might sneak in a little scene though.

I am totally okay with that. I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes, and I really like the dynamic you've built up between the characters. Ooh, interesting. This guy throws previously-established knowledge of magic for a loop. Before this, it had been established that you needed a black-tipped tail to perform magic - with the only exception being Vix, and having all-black fur sort of provides a plausible explanation for that...
Yes, his magic talents were granted from an artifact, and yes they don't seem as 'direct' as what Fen and Vix can do, but it only takes one exception to disprove a hypothesis. This means that, even if black-tipped tails are the only way to be born with the gift, there are at the very least artificial means of gaining magical abilities. Considering how different his magic seems from what Fen and Vix do, there is also the possibility that "magic" is not singular, but comes in different forms and varieties.
So much speculation fuel and interesting world-building... and you question whether it needs to exist?

Actually, all I've really established about the magic system through the comic itself is that you need a black tail tip specifically for Hadalen magic ;)

Fer says people grow fast but I think Red was on the cusps of young adult hood already, despite his meek frail nature before buffing up, but that the time he has been traveling with Sha (and Meeka too) hasn't been quantified, he could be her heavy lifter for several year or more by now.

I'd say he's about 14 in Farelliar years, which is equivalent to 29 in Earth years, I suppose. He's likely to live to at least 40 Farelliar years, probably 45 if he keeps up his healthy lifestyle. Tarrens are a hardy race.

Keep forgetting the old standby in fantasy lore of different races having different life spans and reaching maturity (physical, mental or otherwise) at an age before what is typical in humans.

Guess it's because I "see" all furries in stories like yours as humans, with each species like a different ethnicity or culture of people, instead of truly separate races when ones adopts the role play mindset.

All and all I'm either over thinking this or I've been a furry too long...

And that is a large part of why there are no humans in Farelliar :p
