Methuselah can see only spirits. Some spirits look similar. Like Brutus and Atlas. He can't tell them apart. He has to listen to their voices to tell one from the other. Others are very unique to the point they look almost nothing like what is actually infront of him. However, most souls tend to look like how they are personality wise. Jivu has a third eye because he has skills as a healer and shaman. So he sees things others don't. Methuselah and Roho's spirits also have a third eye visible.
