Auric look very nice and you did a good job at translating his wing pattern to your style. I love how the background turned out, with the shadows of the pine trees against the dark but not black sky. The background is a good monitor/display test as well, since depending on the ambient lighting and how good a display is, it can look like the background is solid black. The difference in how the background looks between the different displays that I've used to look at this picture is quite striking.
