It's horrible.
Being only four lightyears away, the Coronans have absorbed much of Earth's pop-cultural ephemera and recontextualized it because that's kinda what you do when your entire civilization is built upon a cargo cult. Coronans never could quite figure out how to Coronitize Thanksgiving itself because they have neither any local animal which resembles a turkey, nor do they have a whole lot of room to stuff themselves, so they instead locked onto the concepts of "Game Day", the Parade and Black Friday. The Coronan cultural landscape is also influenced heavily by the Tellisian immigrants and colonists (Kazians, Hcotians, et cetera), and the result is a rather twisted miasma of horror santas, pointy dragon messiahs and somber parades featuring balloons of well-known characters in rather dire or somber circumstances (The Tellies on Corona really like to use Snoopy/Woodstock to communicate the horror of war for some reason, probably because the Coronans are all a bunch of obsessive postmodernists that read way too far into things which are only meant to entertain).
