My contribution to Arctic's 'Secret Santa' art project. I really want to do more art trades, I enjoy the exchange and the chance to give someone something great that I made, and have them return it with something they put effort into. Money is always nice, of course, but I firmly believe that art should be shared.

Kazesousha First time I've ever drawn a raccoon. xD; At least I attempted it, even if he looks more like a fox. Hopefully I got the whole character right.
Yay for cool background, but Boo for crappeh shading. xD; my tablet is wearing out, blah blah blah, I have no excuse for it. At least I went into detail with the shading, something I haven't done in quite a while. I gotta say though, the background came out just like I wanted it to, even if the color couldn't match it. xD;

*coughs* Anyway. Good job on all of this, methinks. I like the little details in the clothing, and think you did an overall good job on the colouring, even if he does seem to be a little bright for a night time scene ;3 But it's subtle, certainly not a glaring mistake. Unless you're really looking for it, he pretty much looks right. Heh, well done, well done. :3

Thank you so much! n_n I love it! I feel your pain with the tablet wearing out though~ I went to scan in my image for editing and digicolor and found out my printer cable was chewed through by my cockateil >.<;;
Very lovely picture n_n Thank you so much~ Merry Christmas :3

Considering the quality in this, I do like it. The shading is forgivable since there is some, and it is not poorly placed. Key points of this image would have to be the pond, tree; sky and the raccoon's hair. All of these do share the finer bits of appearance that draw the viewer better into the picture.
This shows that your effort is not in vain; I see how well this turned out if you may feel otherwise. Please develop more like this one.
