Gosh...where do I start with this....well yesterdays stream session went from 9amish to 11pmish so that was kinda mad and by that point i had already sketched all the people into the poses and done the majority of the background so Ive kinda lost track how many hours went into this.
If you full res zoom into the pic see if you can spot all the eastereggs hidden around the pic theres cameos from a lot of different comics and references to various things and gem seems to be having fun shredding the competition. The comic rack in the back is possible the most fun ive had in ages.

Azumanga dioah is Awesome, Chobit reference with the comic within it :D

The Prinnie plushie, the Kero plushie, the mokkana plushie, the moogle plushie, the Alucard cosplayer, the metroid cosplay, the Azumanga Daioh poster, the poster that looks like the front cover of the novel "How To Train Your Dragon", not to mention Gem destroying Shine. Now, I know you were trying to fit with the theme, but I am curious what made you go with certain series or genre outside of comics? I understand that they are apart of the geek culture, but there are so many options you could have used, out of the millions of references you could have made, what made you settle on the ones used here?
