A bit of shade and quick effect on the recent lines. Not the most efficient work I've done after lines, but whatever! Better than the scrapped ones. This one ditched the background and got some inversion+effect adjustments. And I left it bigger (than usual) for people to see!

The flamey look actually kinda came from two separate influences, and works a bit based on each level with the two versions.
For the other one, it was an effect from a game that I liked (and where I first started to really like the weapon type) that an enemy might get when they were in a rage - and wouldn't physically react to your damage. Just to let you know that enemy was fired up and ready to take you down.
...then this version works has it working with the Phantom idea because Phantom. Hahaha
