No, my knuckles actually get swollen when I draw too long without rests. And then after a while putting my hand on any surface hurts xD .... so I gotta put some ice on it and then rest it for a day or two. I'm extremely boney, no real muscle or anything, so everything just gets overworked very quickly.
That's not good. It may be better to let your hands rest more often in between drawing sessions. I like to draw for long periods of time, too, but there's a point where drawing becomes dangerous to the health of your hands. I'm far more concerned for your health than whether the art you produce is finished in some time allotment.
Well, I'm just the sort of person who likes to finish what she starts in one go x.x. Usually if I stretch things i lose interest. That's why I also work very fast lol ... But yeah you are right. And i'm well aware that this can lead to some serious issues. But I am going to start taking more breaks in between my pieces because with improvement comes more time spent on each piece heh ... There's no avoiding it now =<. With I'm both happy and sad about haha. Glad I'm improving, sad I gotta spend more time on things xD
Certainly. Art is, as some say, my entire life. I'm no pro, by any means, but I can't see myself doing anything else. And nowadays i'm actually struggling to make it my primary 'job' even though I have no diploma of any sort heh. Working on commissions works \o/ Though if I could get a couple more thousands of watchers hahahahaa [/dies] I may be able to make it a proper job. But yes, plenty of art coming from this direction o/
