Auric drinking tea at sunrise (by CadmiumTea)
This is a small acrylic drawing/painting of my winged jackal 'sona Auric done on a 3.5" x 5.5" (~9 x 14cm) brown mini-moleskine notebook cover by the very skilled CadmiumTea. Note that the teacup and tea contain no volatile metals.
I absolutely love how it turned out. It is one of my favorite artworks of Auric and it is an excellent example of Auric with his headfur/mane/ruff shown in a realistic integrated and layered style. I really like the simplified realism style CadmiumTea has for these small artworks and I'm very happy with how the very warm colors of the limited palette turned out, with the warm yellow/gold accents.
