The "Bring It!" pic might've instigated this, even! Hahaha
And thank you! I like his coloring a lot. Wanting more blue/purple in charas = part of why I made this design in the first place. Hahaha
And then a dark red/orange/yellow background makes it stand out.
+ contrast!
Thank you for the comment!

I've noticed that, too!
There are a lot of little cool things about drawing them, too. The same bonuses as Asari, really --> They're like 90% human, so it's good general practice and easy to find references. They don't have hair to mess with/mess up with. They are automatically colorful. Hahaha
I like his colors a lot, too. I actually kinda wanted something blueish again when I started making him. When I finished coloring that original sketch, I actually rotated his coloring through the whole spectrum to see what I liked. There are a few REALLY cool looks in there - stuff that you don't really see, too! - but blue with some purple ended up being the right way for his design to me. (and a bit of green-blue hinting in spots)
I don't know if there will be more in Andromeda, with when the game's set and how limited the race is at that point in time... BUT it would be awesome!
And thanks again - the arm wraps were one of the first things I put in the first pic of him that I was just like "YES!" at. Had to keep that. It's been in all three of his other pics so far, too. I like it too much. Hahaha

Pfffffffffft
Like I can learn. Hahaha
I mostly just felt like doing another one-layer pic without lineart. But with more color and contrast this time than with the last one. New Blue Drell made that easy. And once I found a background, the lighting decisions and contrast were easy. "!"

Yup, just one layer! For those few painty pics, like this and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17933448/ , I tend to just stick it all on one layer without clean lines to go under. Very different, and comes out looking really different.
And thanks again! Glad other people like it. I think this one came out pretty well, despite not quite matching the mental image I was going for.
