Here's a pencil sketch of my 'sona Auric in a feral winged canine or 'simuran' form, drawn by the very talented Chickenzaur who does a very nice job with feral canine griffons and simurans (winged wolves and canines). I was very happy to get her to draw my simuran form; compare it to my full gryphon form.

We may need to explain the word "simuran". It is not commonly used on English language websites yet. I think the quick explanation is that in modern use "simuran" means a winged wolf or dog (or any canine with wings, whether feral or anthro) and is based on old pagan Slavic stories. I hope that is an accurate short explanation.

Auric is a jackal/buzzard gryphon or simuran - that's a golden jackal (or African golden wolf) and long-legged buzzard combination. For everyone in the USA who is used to the word 'buzzard' being used (colloquially but incorrectly) to describe a vulture, a long-legged buzzard is a type of hawk from Africa and Eurasia, not a vulture.
