Welcome one and all, if you are reading this, then you have either stumbled across, was notified or have anticipated this reference sheet of my original race known as the Lhi’aans. So without further ado, I’d like to give a brief breakdown of what you will read. This is found also on my old account
niverian77
In this you will find:
-A brief history of the Lhi’aan race
-extended descriptions of the details
-rules on drawing Lhi’aans
-A few Pre-thought Q&A for answers.
You may want to take this time to prepare yourself, grab a snack, use the restroom, etc. Because this is going to be a very long read. Are you ready? Let’s begin.
Lhi’aan species
A technologically advanced race composed of artificial lifeforms; the Lhi’aans are a rather young species due in part in the means to their creation. Yet, the means of their success as a species was accounted by being exposed to all the information throughout the universe, which in turn has allowed them to skip thousands of generations of evolution and learning in so that they are able to comprehend and live in tandem with the times of the other races. Being of artificial design, Lhi’aans has no real gender in spite their variety of appearances, and thus as a result they’ not merely born by conventional means, but otherwise reproduce through manufacturing. As a result, their anatomy greatly differs from organic life-forms. The most notable difference is that they have no brains, but rather are a part of a massive super computer known as the Terminal which transmits information to and from the Lhi’aans. It is even stated that the bodies of Lhi’aans are not their true selves but are merely an input-output device used as a transmitter to communicate and interact with the outside world. That being said, their bodies are merely inconsequential when it comes to terms of life and death, for if a body is damaged beyond repair, the body can die and since the mind is separate of the body itself, a new body can be made to replace the older one. Lhi’aans also tends to upgrade, finding all previous flaws in the prior models and correcting any defecting or erogenous components with newer adaptations. It is in this light that Lhi’aans have been considered in one form or another as being immortal.
Lhi’aans are unique in a way that there are a variety of colors, sizes, styles, spoken accents and forms of Lhi’aans. However the race in and of itself have a default in physical appearance:
-They appear bi-pedal or anthropomorphic having only three fingers along with an opposable thumb, their heads are similar to earth canines with the exception that their nose is an almost rectangular shape with no nostrils that take up half their upper muzzle. The muzzle and cheeks have their own unique set of markings or shapes that glow on their faces. Their ears are tall, pointed, with a rounded knick on either side of the ear itself. They have three toed feet with a protruding spur behind the heel of the foot that glows in accordance to their color of their glow.
-Their internal anatomy is very unique, first in terms of the color. If one were to peer into a Lhi’aan’s mouth, it would be evident that they have a completely different color in such a way that there is no standard pink color as seen on Earth, but instead is of vibrant coloration such as yellow, blue, green, purple, and so forth, some even have unique displays such as silvery insides or glowing and color changing abilities. They have no lungs as being artificial means they have no need for blood and thereby the lack of needing oxygen. They can eat, but their digestive process is different. They do have stomachs that digest in much the same way as an organics’ but that is where it ends when the atoms of the food particles are broken down the atoms into basic electric particles that are then extracted. The resulting neutrino particles are sent through a vent that is their tails which resemble fire of some kind; this static flame not only is used for ascetic display, but also is used in capturing static electricity through the air as a secondary source of energy. The tail is harmless and can actually be touched, though the results are static cling.
- Though they do not possess an actual gender, they do however take on the body types and personalities of the two genders, allowing for an extensive variety of personalities and ideas, showing that psychologically they are not a purely logical race but instead have extensive creative and imaginative faculties that give the race something to identify with as a people as well as a display of free-will and emotional capabilities. No two Lhi’aans are the same as is the case with humans, each has their own personality, hair style, clothing fashions, likes and dislikes, internal and external colorations, abilities, heights, weights, etc.
-there are various models of Lhi’aans, each being unique in and of themselves and possessing their own talents as well as appearances.
LE-1- The most common model, LE-1 is a component that is based on a bio-synthetic structure, meaning that their bodies though completely artificial can work in a way that is not unlike the organic processes and appearances. That being said, they can interact with their environments. They have no real abilities to be spoken of other than whatever skills they have endowed through education or have chosen into their programming, these make up the majority of the Lhi’aan species.
LE-1 Variant- A four legged, primal Lhi’aan whom lives in more natural environments unlike their counterparts who live in more urbanized areas. These are pack hunters and act more like animals. However they are in most ways every bit as intelligent as the normal Lhi’aans as they can speak, they possess a great sense of direction and they are sometimes found in cities reporting what they find in the unknown parts of the outside world. Like the LE-1, they have no real capabilities other than what they choose to program into themselves though they are more capable at fighting than regular Lhi’aans.
LE-2- An upgraded version of the LE-1 versions, the LE-2 are completely different. There are not very many of these models as they are hard to work with. Their bodies are of a special composure as they are made of components that are either liquid or made of some kind of nanotechnology that can almost instantaneously transmute from a vapor, to a liquid, into a solid and back again to facilitate the needs such as shape shifting, fitting into tight spaces or expand to break down barriers, and is able to split into separate entities or can form any kind of shape necessary for its needs.
Along with this ability, they also have a technology known as biohacking, which involves touching any organic being in which said contact introduces signals that go into the nervous system into the brain by which they can take direct control of the brain and thereby can introduce commands or functions that can be either beneficial to the being in question, or detrimental and hazardous, even to the point of death by an almost infinite means. That being said, there has been a few cases where one has injected itself into an organic host, thereby forming a symbiotic relationship which has benefits for both parties. However, the benefit for the Lhi’aan is that it can make a sort of terminal with the host’s unused portions of the brain where it can exist outside the Terminal if need be, it also can be passed into offspring thus giving the Lhi’aan a continued existence as well as a bond with the generations long into the future.
Lhi’aan Homeworld
A recent addition to the galactic map, the Lhi’aan home world is in fact the moon of the larger planet known as Lhi’ardikaz.
Lhi’ardikaz: A fairly large planet, Lhi’ardikaz is at least four times the size of Earth. With a constitution of volcanic rock, the planet is deadly, with critical factors of a toxic atmosphere, extreme temperatures that would roast all but the heartiest lifeforms and a gravity that would all but crush most lifeforms. There are no lifeforms on that planet, however with a wealth of natural recourses along with a nearly endless supply of valuable metals and material, the automated Mining derived of Lhi’aan technology makes this planet among the richest and most invaluable industrially and technologically advanced resource in the Tenjaris cluster.
The moon of Lhi’ardika- Slightly smaller than Earth, the Lhi’ardika moon was in fact very much like the moon of Earth, a barren, dusty rock until the Lhi’aans utilized their terraforming technology to make it a habitable world. It is considered one of the most beautiful worlds in the Tenjaris cluster and the first world to establish life in less than a year. The chief lifeform are the Lhi’aans, a technologically advanced race that originally migrated from Earth. When they arrived here they were few in number, now the Lhi’aans range at nearly 2.1 billion to which thanks to their core which is a vast supercomputer known as the Terminal, the number never changes. The moon is mostly forest, which scattered out are monolithic Tower cities, a giant cylindrical tower having many tiers in which buildings are grafted on as to avoid spreading out through the ecosystem of the forests below. The forests host a myriad of flora and fauna that can be seen nowhere else, a natural Galapagos effect where life and death spin at dizzying proportions. The same can be said of its oceans which are 100% fresh water, drinkable and usable which constitutes it as such a thriving environment.
Rules: Do’s and Don’ts for drawing Lhi’aans.
Do’s
-What you see here are merely examples. You do not have to choose from just what is on this sheet, I encourage everyone to create new designs for their Lhi’aan! The more diversity the better!
-Though I do not like most of the fetishes on this site, here are some I will allow and honestly I draw myself: Macro/Micro, soft vore (no digestion), SFW footplay and a few safer things.
-You can draw any kind of clothing within reason. I do allow bikinis for females.
-You may draw Lhi’aans in your own style, though do try to keep within the parameters of the basic concept. I look forward to see such diversity from various talented artists!
-If you want a Lhi’aan but cannot draw it, you may either use the talents of other artists(Requests, Commissions or otherwise) to bring your Lhi’aan vision to life or if need be I can draw it, though I would prefer you use other artists as I would like diversity in design and technique.
-You don’t have to make a refsheet for your Lhi’aan to introduce them, you can put them in any kind of art in different scenarios.
-They can interact with non-Lhi’aan characters which I would prefer for diversity.
-you can use any artistic medium to show your Lhi’aan. Be it sketching, digital art, 3-D mediums as in sculptures and digital 3-D or even animated( I would love to see that!). Written literature is also a good medium!
-You may name your Lhi’aan with any kind of name, though personally I don’t like naming them with common names, I would like something different, original, and maybe a little alien as they actually are aliens! I named mine with the Greek and Roman alphabet as the first Lhi’aans. For the most part your Lhi’aan do not have to go by this; that is my thing. A few names I have come up with for my newer Lhi’aans like: Xyanir, Shjakzal, or Jhili’ik. Try making up names like that and for heaven’s sake, do not name your Lhi’aan typical earth names like Henry, Sarah, or such that are so boringly ordinary...unless you can spell them in a cool or alien way!
-You can make your Lhi’aan with different body types: Big and bold, Small and adorable, chibi, toon-ish, anime, realistic, scary, etc. Let’s see what you come up with!
-You may put your Lhi’aan in a cast of other characters and interact with them.
-You can Role Play with them. (I love to RP!)
Don’ts
-Under no circumstances is Lhi’aans ever to be drawn in any way, shape, or form depicting pornographic scenes. There is never to be any addition of reproductive organs or naughty bits added to the Lhi’aans nor are they to be used in any pornographic pictures, animations, audio files, or literature. Such will be removed and will be reported. This is your only warning. Also asking questions based in this subject will be deleted without comment.
-As it is my race, I have some reservations on hybridizing Lhi’aans with other species, realistic, fictional or otherwise. While I am open to ideas, please do ask before you make hybrids. I may say yes, or I may say no. Understand that while I am for creative freedom, I do want some things to remain unchanged so to keep the race as it is and not distorted too much.
-While I acknowledge that the use of magic for characters is popular with various species on this site, I must ask that Lhi’aans are to completely refrain from using any form of magic as they are a technological race. I do however have alternatives, such as quantum physics and metaphysical abilities. The effects are similar to magic, though the difference is that magic has no logical explanation, quantum mechanics does. Isn’t that exciting?! ^w^
-If you have a shape shifter character or are making your current character(s) as a Lhi’aan, while I do allow it, it will not be deemed a true Lhi’aan. Your Lhi’aan must be original.
-You may not base your character in another franchise, but you may draw your character in Cos-play! ^w^
Q&A
I imagine there are still a few questions out there that may or may not have been covered in this description. So I have made a few Q&A to help you gain some clarity on this race.
-Q: What do Lhi’aans like to eat?
-A: Like humans, Lhi’aans like to eat just about anything, however most are kinda picky. For starters they do not like to kill for their meat, but then again they don’t have to. Lhi’aans have the technology to clone edible meat parts separately on cloning racks. When the meat has matured or “is Ripe” the parts are harvested. This is a more humane way of obtaining meat as it is not harming any living animals and yet they can still have all the meat they want. They also love all sorts of foods from around the universe, one such is a full plant that is completely edible from the branches that resemble a sweet spice like cinnamon or allspice, the leaves that has a sweet, almost tea-like taste and berries that have a creamy texture and tangy taste!
Q: Do Lhi’aans have families?
A: Well actually the whole race is one massive family of siblings as there are no mothers or fathers. They cannot have children as they are a race made through manifesting, not reproduction. What’s more is that Lhi’aan’s childhood is spent as an AI in the Terminal which lasts a year. Their bodies come later when they mature into the Lhi’aan they want to become.
Q: So if Lhi’aans are artificial, are they robots?
A: Well yes and no, Lhi’aans are a unique lifeform in that unlike organics which are made of multiple cells with singular functions, Lhi’aans are made of one type of cell performing multiple functions. LE-1 models are made of some kind of synthetic flesh which stays that way all for the entire life of the body. LE-2 models are made of some kind of nanomachines which allow them to shape-shift, biohack and other such abilities. Their minds are shared by a massive supercomputer located in the core of their world. Lhi’aan minds are separate from their bodies, functioning much in the way like a remote control, using the body to interact with the world around them. So if the body dies, the mind which is separate can create new bodies to inhabit. This is why there is no gender or spawning of species. The race is at a set number.
Q: What are their weaknesses?
A: While there is no doubt that Lhi’aans are a very powerful force, there are two major weaknesses.
1: Extreme cold which can both freeze their bodies as well as inhibit Terminal signal function.
2:Extreme electromagnetic fields can sever the bond between their body and the Terminal and interrupt the reintegration process.
Q: How does symbiosis work?
A: This primarily works for LE-2 models. It is a unique bond in which a Lhi’aan will bond to an organic (mostly human) by which both sides benefit from one another. In the case of the host for example will gain regenerative factors which not only quickly heals injuries or prevents disease, it also greatly inhibits the aging process, allowing one to appear in their mid-20’s while being in their 60’s and 70’s! They also gain powerful abilities such as enhanced senses, biohacking technology and incredible knowledge. For the Lhi’aan, they can be freed from the effects of the Terminal, able to exist outside of the Terminal’s control if necessary or if the Terminal is deactivated. This is done by infesting the host’s body with their cells and more importantly utilizing the unused portions of the Host’s brain to establish data storage and access. But more importantly is that if the Lhi’aan exists in a male host, their offspring inherits the Lhi’aan’s memory and they become a symbiote as well. This in turn means that for as long as the bloodline holds, the Lhi’aan can continue to remain active in their host’s progenitors. However this is not just a simple transaction. Symbiosis is not merely a means to an end, it is a relationship, a bond of trust. The process cannot be done if there is no trust between the two beings, they must be of one accord, knowing that this decision is not to be taken lightly as once the bond is made, it cannot be unmade, not to meantion that while the first generation has the option of a choice, all other generations down the line will not have that privilege and will have the Lhi’aan forever. The bond also must be done in equal terms, as in one cannot use one’s powers or facilities without permission of the other, such as the host cannot use biohacking without confirmation from the Lhi’aan, likewise, the Lhi’aan cannot use possession on their host without the Host’s permission. This is meant to maintain a balance of power as having two minds in one body can be challenging. The fact is that this is an extraterrestrial alien in a human’s (or other lifeform’s) body and both have to have some equal ground or it will not work.
Q: Do Lhi’aan’s love?
A: Yes, most definitely, though just as much as they think differently, they also love differently. They are not the most physically intimate lifeforms, but they have other ways of expressing love, such as loyalty and protectiveness. One very strong way is through symbiosis, as it is a bond of trust, it can be a bond of love...though that love has little to do with physical romance.
Well that is all I have for the time being, I can make more available if you are willing to ask. Thank you for reading and if you are interested, please read my journal and do you Q&A there. I want more space you see. Anyway, hope you have enjoyed this in as much as you will enjoy creating your own Lhi’aan! ^^
