C'mon and slam, and welcome to the JAM.
Well in this case it's more welcome to March and to another contest. Folks getting tired of these by now? No? Excellent.
This month we're kicking back to a Draw to Adopt Contest with the prize being this beyond gorgeous fellow. Seriously, this guy is a cutie puff. And he could become yours! But much like the last Draw to Adopt, this is not the usual "draw this character to try to win him" contest. Instead we're asking for folks to draw lines for the stardragon coloring book!
Now I can hear you all, you are all going "wtf is the stardragon coloring book?"
GLAD YOU ALL ASKED INVISIBLE PEOPLE. It's RIGHT OVER HERE
Basically in the past we have had various wonderfully generous people submit lineart of stardragons that people are then free to use for their own stardragons. Sort of like a person draws the base that lets people put their own markings/colors ontop so it can be more like their design. So we thought it may be a fun incentive for this month's contest.
THE HOW TO ENTER/RULES
0: Be a member of GemExchange (chances are if you are reading this you already are there!)
1: Draw a base that can be free to use of whatever stardragon type you like
2: Either note us the lines(we can upload it here if you prefer) or upload it to your own gallery and submit the link down below in the comments.
3: At the end of the month (March 31st, whenever we crawl out of our respective caves) we'll put all the names of folks who entred into an RNG and select a winner.
You can enter multiple times, each entry acts like a raffle ticket.
Like the last DTA, this one has a submission limit of 5 per person. So if you do five different line-arts, you get 5 entries.
If you need guidelines for what works as an entry, please check the coloring book for examples. We aren't saying folks need to be master-artists, but the purpose of the coloring book is to offer various bases for people to be able to use for their own designs.
For this contest, you cannot draw on behalf of others or have someone draw on behalf of you. If you want to win this design for a friend, it would be best to just enter and then gift the design to said friend if you win.
Winner of this design is free to trade or gift it should they desire. It cannot be sold for money.
That should about do it.(unless I forgot something and then I will edit the heck out of this submission) If you have concerns/questions, feel free to ask below. Thank you for reading and good luck to any people entering!

congrats on winning this babu.
I admit this is the first raffle that felt like it stung because I absolutely fell in love with this design XD
I may have lost this time, but on the bright side I finally learned how to draw proper hands in my style. In a way we both won something from this raffle :D

yeah, who'd a thought that drawing the Starrobber base would be all that it took to make me realize how to draw a proper hand. They actually look like hands rather than freaky sausages attached at the ends of their arms.
I am optimistic that I'll get at least ONE stardragon this year through raffles or dta. I am hoping to own a starshooter, starsweeper, and a starweaver. eventually :D

By chance, do you suggest ONLY making bases for individual dergs, or would a universal base work - and would a universal base count as entry per species or per one?
I wanna know if I should focus my time on making a universal chibi base, or instead working towards individual species poses. c:

OMG, OMG, how cute! I would really give him a hug! Unless I have no luck in games (This feeling when there are 30 participants and 25 prizes - and you don't win! This feeling when it doesn't happen only one time...), I'll do some bases, maybe just for improve my skills. I draw because I have to - but it doesn't mean that I'm doing it wrong. And I have some question about this picture above - what is the size of the line used in the contour?
