It's a trap. Srsly.
This is a basic ref for Mikail, just to give a rough idea of his markings and what he wears and all that stuff. I changed him up a tiny bit to keep his design simple. Most noticeable change is probably his lack of facial markings since I think the speckles are good enough.
This is actually about three weeks old now. -_- I wasn't sure if I was going to keep the redesign or not so it sat there for a while but I think I like it enough.

I sure can ^_^ There are two ways actually, but I do it this way:
1. Draw your linework on a clean layer that has nothing but transparent pixels on it
2. Color and shade the way you normally do
3. Duplicate the linework layer and lock the opacity, keeping the blend mode set to 'normal.' ('multiply' will screw up the colors) Make sure it stays ON TOP of your color layer.
4 Go over the lines with the desired color. Use whatever size brush you want (I use 20 pixels) because the opacity is locked and it won't change anything that isn't currently black.
The other way involves using the 'screen' blend mode, but I never like how that comes out. It makes my lines a little less smooth and can have a grainy effect. If you need me to clarify anything just ask.
