Succubats merge with and incorporate aspects of the host's features around them. If the host has a tail, the succubat tail will merge with it. If the host already had buttwings, the succubat's wings will merge with those. In the absence of those traits, the succubat's tail and wings will remain, giving the host new body parts.

Sorry, it’s just that I’m worried about pressing any hot buttons you might have and end up offending you. I’ve already had a bad experience when discussing a comic with another artist, and I don’t want to make other people feel upset.
Okay, here it is. If a person was religious before getting attacked by a succubat, are they still religious? I know that they’re still the same person, but they also have the urge to help the hive. So does that mean that they reject their religion, or are they able to stay faithful and serve the hive? Also, surely there are some religions out there who are accepting of succubats. After all, it’s like you said, they’re just animals (the bats themselves, not the host) without any real sense of right or wrong. I don’t know, what do you think.

They're still the same person. Succubats don't make you stop being religious.
I do, however, assume in setting that a lot of judeo-christian type religions hate 'bats for a few reasons: New hosts literally look like sex demons, straight up they strip down into a provocative corset. Plus queens require resources that would otherwise be going to church tithing and taxes. Basically succubats and queens are bad for any religion where the church relies on donations, as well as ones who would see women and men in skimpy corsets as provocative and sinful, and any religions who had succubats in resource tight regions. If drought and food shortages are a regular problem, succubats can seem like a fashionable plague of locusts.
There are probably religions, including modern variants of the judeo-christian analogues that are ambivalent about or accepting of succubats. As well as ones that treat queens like minor gods or spiritual centers, since queens live so long compared to most people, a lot of people, especially later generation hive members, can end up treating queens with a lot of reverence
Also https://www.furaffinity.net/view/24171132/ is a story about a pair of goddesses forming a contract with a hive queen, and her being a queen wasn't a deal breaker.
