Yup!
That's my back side (Hehe... Thought you'd SEE my face didn't ya?!).
Well, you've got my back to the camera, but that's me at the very TOP of Mt. Rose, a volcanic remnant above Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada from over a week ago.
And, no... I'm not FAT (not at 178 pounds & 5ft, 10 in)! It's just the way I'm sitting. Very windy up there, but the temperature was in the 70's.

Thanks! Round trip it was a 7 hour hike (from staging area at Mt. Rose Hwy, to the summit and back).
We took nearly a gallon of water (Five, 1 pint = .9L bottles) and I think a full gallon would have been better.
Wear good shoes/boots and bandages (for any blisters). Don't forget a camera!

Good advice. ^-^;; I just bought a new pair of Merrell's and once they get borken in I think I'll make the trip. I still have my trusty Camelback and that should help too. Have you done the southern tip of the Tahoe Rim Trail, between Kingsbury and the 89 junction? Great scenery there too.
