Gauss rifles... I absolutely adore those things in Planetside X3 (that is a gauss rifle, right?)
this one looks like the EU assault rifle from BF2142, though... too bad I can't get the demo working anymore. oh well, another game I won't be bying, then, got enough of the series with BF2 ^^'

And precicely, basically the weapon saves the "user" data in it's core in order for the weapon not to be used by anyone else than the assigned soldier. All info is taken in by touch and warmth sensitive sensors in the handle itself...I'll explain more to it later ^^
