Request made for
songhaiserevi Abit more simpler than my previous request, as he mentioned I could practically choose any style.
Thought of making this one a sorta dark comic book style. The shading was done pretty quick.
Drawing based on the Description given to me.

I decided this could be the explanation draw their obsession with light sources, with a "now-cannon" explanation:
Various large insects from the planet of the Scesti emitted a small glow during the dark cycles. These long dark cycles were caused by eclipses that could last upto a century on large parts of their world. They resulted in long periods of darkness. Upon such time The Scesti, being a predatory species had much difficulty in hunting their common pray within the area affected by the eclipse, as most of the other species became dormant. Inorder to survive and to satisfy their ever growing hunger, they fed on these insects to survive while moving to an area not affected by the eclipse. After reaching a location with lot of prey, they went on a feeding frenzy from their hunger. Over time, evolution caused them to link the glow to the instict to feed, and in the civilized scesti society, a glowing food became an appetizer before a meal.
