I dug through some of my older sprites..found these.
This is a technique I call flat ironing..basically, I iron the beads carefully until all the holes are filled in, resulting in a flat, smooth finish. It's tricky, and much more difficult to perfect on larger sprites.
I don't really do this, but in future commissions, I COULD potentially flat iron your sprite to look like this.
