He had been cursed. His transformation brought endless pain and torment, driving him to madness. His own people had cast him out, for he was no longer in control of his body, or rather, the thing that was attached to his body like a sapient tumor. He could never know friendship or kindness again, for those that were brave or foolish enough to approach were horribly devoured, torn apart and mutilated not only by those terrible limbs, but also by the paws that he was born with, that he could still control. At times, it seemed almost like a game, to see which part of him could inflict the most hideous torment.
He was cursed. But for those who have seen him and has fortune to escape with their lives, they can never forget the gleeful smile upon his face, and thus were also cursed with the truth of his terrible apotheosis.
