Originally I was going to do a cutesy lovey-dovey winter scene with Luthien and Theron, but I decided I've done a lot of that stuff lately and instead drew us with more of a "were" look. I wanted something a bit more wild, more primitive, for this. So here we see Luthien and Theron out in the forest surrounded by a wintery landscape, hunting for their next meal under the watchful eyes of some hungry ravens.

Dang, I looove seeing so many full pieces with backgrounds =) your character is so pretty too, especially the stripes on her legs.
I hope you don't mind I make a small suggestion... I think using a ruler to straighten and even out the border lines could make your work look even more fantastic, and better reflect the effort you obviously put into each piece =)

The black I used to outline the border is a copic marker and the first one I've ever used, so I'm sort of experimenting with it a bit, seeing what kind of lines I can make with it. I've found it works good for the "painted" look, creating sort of an uneven or bumpy line...hoping to get a full set of those for my birthday. *fingers crossed*
