Yep, another T'skrang to add to my gallery. xD And yes she's a girl. Just very flat chested.
This is my second T'skrang character, again a female elementalist. I joined a different campaign and was told I had to start over from scratch... and since I'm still a horrid n00b I went with what I already had some idea about. >.>
Of course, that meant I couldn't resist doing another picture, and this one even has shading! Not a lot, but some. xD I also pulled some textures so she didn't look so flat, and I rather like the effect.
For those who don't know, T'skrang are an Earthdawn race of amphibian-ish, humanoid reptiles. Just google it and you'll find a few sites that explain about them. While Srin is flat-chested, she is in fact female. Fun fact, in T'skrang society, the males produce the milk for the hatchlings.
The coin belt around her waist is her grimoire, or where she keeps her spells. Each 'coin' is a disk of wood that's been painted and carved with the runes of the spell it represents and she adds coins as she learns new spells. The reason it takes this form is because she's an active individual, and having to carry around a bulky book all the time would be annoying. Not to mention it would get ruined if she ever took a dip in some water, where the cloth and sealed-wood of her belt won't. And T'skrang love water.
Some day, Srin dreams of replacing all her wood coins with Orichalcum, a type of metal that is made from fusing all four raw elements into one. Of course, its horridly expensive just for a tiny bit of it... but a girl can dream, right?
