I like art that has no references. In fact, I don't ever use references when drawing my art, unless it's to add features of a certain person's face to add to their fursona. Positions and angles are almost always done in the head...although, it could be why sometimes I have to redraw a picture 2 or 3 times before I get it right (or close to it).
