But you're right. Especially in Asia Continent (and may be some countries), Gay is commonly judged as taboo. Cultural barrier is still as strong as years ago, where people takes Gayness as a curse.
And in some place, the barrier seems unchanged.

Hoh? I dunno precisely. In some big cities, it won't differ much. But still in some small spots, provinces and villages, you better not talk about it. (Kinda Eastern version of Backbreak Mountain). Or else, you can expect yourself dragged nakedly around city (that might be the biggest risk... or there may be still worse punishment than that)
