I know I probably shouldn't keep doing these full-color background pieces, but there's just something about it that makes me feel like I kicked some major ass over doing something with no background or half of one. And, this is my first piece with my new 156 set of Prismacolor markers! Woo!

Anyway, this be a new character, Kjarten the Trei-Klaw raptor and his guardian spirit bird, Nycteo the Snowy owl. (And yes, before anyone gets their undies in a twist, I have permission to make one.) I have a feeling I'll be changing his outfit since the one you see was spur of the moment garb since he does live in the tundra/arctic, he can't be going around with only shorts on. Maybe today is during the summer.

About the bear thing: I wanted to do a polar bear, but I thought if we're in the world of anthros and some of those can be hybrids, maybe feral animals can be hybrids, too.
