Hehe more like an 1880s school mascot. ;)
This is a scan of a glass plate photo that is why there is cracks on the edges of most of these black and white photos.

This is awesome... I am working on a similar project, I will be working in a studio set up for wet-plate/tintype/glass negatives. The subject is furry/steampunk/sci-fi/time-travel related. Cool to see how your photo came out... seeing how the vivid RL colors translate to orthochrome wet plate is interesting.

Not really sure of the studio.
It was in Portland and Jody Ake was the one that shot the photos.

I can see if his website says something.
