If I am painting in solid acrylic on wood, I usually block in the background and foreground before working on the character. This time around, I just felt like getting the foreground finished first since I was splattering a bit of paint for the pebble detail, and it'd be a pain to go back and clean up spatters on the lioness after the fact. :]
This is really fantastic I really admire you, I´m studing fine arts and I wish some day I can do some that reach a good level, I like so much you have post the process, I like to se how you make that spot : ) it helps me.
