...continuing Sonic fan-art night...
The characters in the comics had so many different proportions and costumes - this wuz a back 3/4 view to go with a front 3/4 view...
Fed the pencil into Inkscape for a semi-auto vector "inking"....
Into PainterX for colours.... And then i discovered what the "Hard Light" layer in Painter could do.....!!! :) :) :)
Anyhoo, Salley, Bunnie, Sonic, & Tails - fave chars from comix!\
- from around ten years ago? Comp colour from around six years ago?
oh yeah, shrinking it down to this size lost lots of detail - cloth texture on Sal's vest and boots for example

Guess it comes from being just another smitten guy - women are pretty all over, from finger tips to toes, teef an nose, dress em up in lace an bows!...or say in vest and boots and roboticized armor...?
the pencil was from a series of drawings (front, side, back) trying to figure out the proportions of the comix at that time, which tended to vary quite a lot...
i was busy doing animation storyboards (Redwall, etc), but thought i might want to apply to do some Sonic comix, so wanted to find the proportions i liked... Never went beyond these ruffs though, too busy with animation storyboard work.
