Last of the Sonic fan-arts for tonight. Three ruff Rouge pics.
Rouge is cute and buxom, over did that in the left and right pix as many fan pix tend to do (heee-hee!) - if/when i get around to doing real finished versions the proportions will be like the middle pic!
i just like the idea of her being lit by these glowing chaos emeralds!
But i might not get to doing these pics for a couple years, so here's a e red-green-blue trio light your pixels!
These were from about three years ago or so, painted on one layer in Painter X wiff another layer for light fx.

Yeah, this would be just before Kunckles would show up to make everything awkward!
That was one of the problems between the comix and the games - Salley vs Amy, and Julie Su vs Rouge...
Who the heck were the real romantic interests?!?!? i think you had to just think they were two alternate realities.

Well, the comic did take the romantic interest up, built stories on it...don't know if it went anywhere as i stopped reading them after awhile...
In the games Sonic and Knuckles were like "Git away from me girl! You got cooties!" - Like the game designers thought only five-year-olds would be playing, or that teens would think that was nostalgic/cute....Was sort of before they realized that later teens and adults were gaming.
Then they got stooopid - "let's give Shadow a gun, crazy speed, etc" and no story...lost the soul of the series.

Wow! Thanks! ^_^
Your comment made my day, cuz i've been a fan of your art since way back around '03 or earlier at VCL (i guess it was there...haven't gotten around to watching all my fave artists since i joined FA a couple years ago, but have been looking at your gallery...)
Sadly these pics getting finished is on hold for now, as the lightinf fx depend on PainterX's hardlight layer (no other program has the same sort of hardlight layer - they call it that, but it doesn't work the same), and my Windows comp crashed a couple years ago and i've been running Linux since then - no Painter (sniff) - but i'll eventually get another Windows comp and then finish them.
There are some nifty Linux programs - some that are now available for Windows/etc - you might want to check out Krita - super groovy weighted smoothing inking brush - the smoothest lines ever - and the new Gimp 2.8 which no longer has to have 3 windows, and has some of the wildest brush dynamic setting - rotating texture brushes, etc ooddles of free downloadable brushes (see dA ) and themes to make basic look dark, etc - it's not the kid version of anything anymore - haven't posted anything with those fx yet...soon.
Adding you to watch list!
