A Commission I originally snagged a good while ago, of Jang and Kage; (of

respectively ^^) from a really nice, and very talented (if often overworked) artist; 
shizuworks. It was part of a set that came with an awesome avi Icon too ^^

Depends on the artist really... I think it would often float around the $15-$20 range for most. Come to think of it; 
spazzykoneko's doing commissions; She did my rather spiffy one: http://www.furaffinity.net/full/3694082/ for only $10. (Course it was only inks/black-n-white, so uh heh...)
Most do charge per character; and I've done a half-and-half commish before (where we both pay, and get an image with both chars) http://www.furaffinity.net/full/3970554/. At the moment, however; I'm a bit strapped for cash. I'll mark it down as a commish idea though, if you want...

hehe i checked out spazzy's art i like it lol i'd be happy being in a pic with a cute fox *smiles* uhm.. 20$ max would be my limit though >.< no higher then that. plus theres the situation of how am i spossed to even send it...heh i'm guessing you've marked it down and saved it already.
