Here's a drawing of Zen that I was working on last year. I got sidetracked and never finished it, but recently
zippiner convinced me it was good enough to upload with only flats. I guess she's right! Might as well get this online and work on something better, since my skills have since improved.
She's sitting on a couple of albums, one of which being
corbinbusker's "In June." The other is no specific album, but has
chicago-lollie's name slapped on it.
This drawing shows off her eye colour better than any other I have uploaded thus far. I also tried to depict her clothing realistically, considering her size. You can see the exaggerated stitches!
Drawn in Open Canvas; coloured in SAI.

Excellent work; the body shape and style are very aesthetically pleasing. Her pose is also very 'real', and I wonder if you modeled it after something or just came up with it out of the blue; if the latter, more skillz to you. It's interesting to note, though, how her hands and feet don't look avian at all and appear more feline. Is this by intent, or do old habits die hard?
This one was purely from the imagination—so thanks!
As for the hands and feet, I guess that's an old habit. When I draw anthros, one of the human traits I give them are hands and feet (plus whatever fur and claws or whatever from their animal half). Paws are cute and all that, but they're not really my style, considering the overall realism I attempt. I pretty much just wanted to do the same with Zen, but have her feet (and hands, by extension) featherless, like a real bird. Granted, real birds have their whole lower legs featherless, but somewhere in her earliest designs, I just found it more aesthetically-pleasing with her to do it from the ankle and wrist down. If I were to redesign her today, I probably wouldn't repeat that trait, but I think it looks good on her, even if it is a little nonsensical.

I didn't think of them as being featherless; to me, they look furred but just with a different hue and probably finer texture. From that perspective it seemed very divergant to have furred hands and feet on a feathered bird. Also, I wasn't pointing out an issue of hands/feet/paws, I just use hands and feet as terms more often than paws since it differentiates between them. Whoops to me for confusing wording.
To me, bird legs have that sort-of scaled texture; ridged and rigid like they're clad with steel plates. Again, fantasy isn't science and this isn't something to follow if you don't find it enjoyable to draw or look at.
My confusion might be a sign of someplace to work on in the future. Of all her former they seem to have the least amount of detail, an outline and a single tone. Whatever style you like best you could try added extra detail to illustrate that style to show what her hands and feet (or paws, or claws) would look like with a closer look.
Also, I like the feathered arms and legs, it does look good :P
