The wings work with a halfsuit too, and because of how I build heads and since this is a low profile face with no jaw you can "pop the top" (see end of video) hidden slits in the wings allow your hands to come out, you have a little bit of dexterity with the feathers.

It's 4:30 am and I have yet to sleep, and should be in bed, so if I sound like an ass that's why.
But what is the point of such a comment on a finished piece other than to make the artist feel bad/second guess their work? This feather fur cost twice as much as normal and was a pain to work with... I even had the extra work of washing it before using it because it had an odd smell from the dye when it arrived, but in the end I was happy with the results... until just now... I was like "yay one more comment to read before I go to bed :D " and now I am like >_0 ...so uh, that comment stung...

That is why I said it was a personal prefrance. If you and the commisioner are happy with it then why be offended?
I like the suit, you hit the species on the head. I'm not saying anything bad or damning about the suit. I just personaly am not going to use the feathered fur on the belly of my snowy owl suit. Theres really nothing to be offended about if it's just not my cup of tea.

I'm just tired ...and I apparently hit "bitch mode tired" (my ADHD meds cause insomnia and I am generally nocturnal by nature, I have to wait till I am passing out in my chair before I go to bed or I will end up lying there staring at the ceiling dwelling on stuff for hours)
...I also now know how Latinvixen felt when people commented on the fleece face of the triceratops she made, personal preference or no it kinda stings to hear such on a finished suit .__. especially one that was extra work such as this and her triceratops (which looks like it was a ton of work)

Not all is lost. I think the fur on the body make em look like a poofy little baby lol

See...now I see that you meant "for the bird I plan to make I do not like the look of the feather fur on the body as much as I thought I would, but it looks great for this."
...earlier I read "you ruined this suit by using the feather fur on the body" and being tired and thus over sensitive it ruffled my feathers (pun intended)
